ph impetus appoints new Manager for Middle east and North Africa

 ph impetus has appointed David Parkin as the new Regional Technical Manager for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) as part of its contract to provide international technical field support to Jaguar Land Rover.  In addition, two temporary Regional Technical Managers, Bas Rovers and Steve Carey, have been appointed to assist with preparations for new model launches later in the year. 

Taking up the posts in June and July, the Regional Technical Managers will be based in Dubai and will also cover UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Morocco, Egypt, Yemen, Algeria, Libya, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Lebanon, Jordan, Bahrain, Pakistan, Palestine & Syria. 

The Regional Technical Managers will provide technical support for all importers within the MENA region and assist in analysing and improving procedures at authorised repairers.  In addition, they will identify and address strengths and weaknesses in the after sales processes and help to plan and implement best practice methods to ensure ‘right first time’ fixes.
