Managing Director International Development
Impetus Automotive has held another successful Client Symposium at the Henley Royal Regatta. An annual opportunity for senior managers and directors from across the Automotive industry to come together, exchange ideas, learn new things and have a nice time.
This year we had a number of guest presenters to set the topic of conversation. Our headline presentation was from Glenn Lyons, Professor of Transport and society on “Changing Attitudes to Mobility and Vehicle Ownership”. This was followed by Jim Campbell, Managing Director, Sutherland Campbell International presenting on “Innovation in Propulsion, Autonomous & Connected Technologies”. Finally we heard from Steve Settle, associate director for Impetus Automotive and former board member for Toyota GB, presenting on “Considerations for After Sales with changing attitudes to mobility and vehicle ownership”.
Our guests, clients and management team then boarded the river boat “Georgian” for a chance to network and further discuss the morning’s subjects. Meanwhile we were served an excellent lunch whilst the Georgian cruised up and down the Thames and we enjoyed the festival atmosphere of the Henley Royal Regatta.
David Gorvett, Managing Director for Impetus Automotive was enthusiastic about the experience: “Our guest presenters did a really good job of putting across some real insight into the direction our industry is heading in. And having their expertise available, in the afternoon, provided some really fascinating conversation topics. It was a great day, which I am sure our clients found interesting and enjoyable. I can’t wait till next year.”
