Automotive management consultancy Impetus Automotive is putting itself in pole position for future success with a refocus of its global business.
The company, which has its UK headquarters in Warwick and additional offices in Milton Keynes and Germany, specialises in delivering process and revenue improvements to automotive manufacturers, including Jaguar Land Rover,Volkswagen Group, Toyota and GM.
Following an extensive review, which included research on key industry issues, client interviews and a detailed analysis of market opportunities, it is realigning its services to match six core channels of the automotive chain: parts, accessories, service, retail sales, fleet sales and used-car sales.
Through these channels, Impetus Automotive will offer insight-led consultancy delivered by industry experts and driven by a ‘customer first’ approach.
The business repositioning, which has been timed to coincide with the peak car sales period this month, will also see the launch of a refreshed brand and a new-look website.
In addition, the findings of the review, which was carried out over a six month period, will provide the basis for a series of industry white papers highlighting sector-specific issues.
David Gorvett, CEO of Impetus Automotive, said: “One of the challenges highlighted in our research was that many clients only know us for the services they buy from us. Clearly, there is a need for us to inform them of the full range of bespoke solutions we can offer.
“By aligning our portfolio with the core parts of the automotive chain, it should be easier for automotive professionals to understand the breadth of what we can do.
“We also need to emphasise our ‘customer first’ approach, which sets us apart in the industry and really focuses our business relationships on doing the right things to build long-term customer loyalty for the vehicle manufacturer brands we work with.”
He added: “This is an exciting time for Impetus Automotive. These changes are integral to building on the success we’ve already enjoyed. We are committed to developing a successful future by focusing our efforts on our core specialisms -and putting ourselves ahead of the field.”
