Position Summary
- To maximise sales of genuine parts to the trade sector through supporting retailers engaged in the Trade programme.
- Provide territory retailer support in all aspects of the trade business particularly operational development marketing activity and sales management.
- Form part of the wider manufacturer field team to recruit Trade dealers and support national policies and programmes.
Target Profile / Experience
- A knowledge of the parts trade sector, franchised dealer/ vehicle manufacturer or aftermarket competitive parts operations.
- The ability to add value and improve performance is imperative
- Previous/ current experience of working in a regional role, for an aftermarket supplier, franchised dealer group or vehicle manufacturer would be an advantage.
Capabilities
- Understanding of franchised dealer business practices and the contrast to those employed by a parts factor in the supply of parts to independent motor traders.
- Ability to inspire others and achieve results.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Flexible approach to work, self sufficient and a self starter.
- PC literate
